Hello! I’ve been making a few doodles lately while waiting for my CP IX. I whipped up this UFO Kirby. I think it came out rather well. I plan to ink him later on. I also have other random drawings of Kirby and his other ‘powers’. They’re too messy though, so I won’t post ‘em. Why draw Kirby a lot, you ask? Well, I’ve been playing Kirby: Nightmare on Dreamland on the GBA and I’ve been having fun with it. It’s so fun to play and the sprites are pretty cool. I also find the characters somewhat interesting XD .
The GBA is getting pret-ty old though…. so I might download the game for my NDS. I heard there’s a Kirby game for your DS now, too.
Oh, yeah! And I’ve been practicing on drawing male characters, too, on a realistic sorta way. I really enjoy reading tutorials. My secret weapon? References! Search some on the internet; I recommend Googling them
I also found some on DeviantArt. Try putting the keyword tutorial on the search bar. I found plenty of helpful tutorials. Check out what I’ve come up with! I’m really enjoying this
Ahahaha.

Hey, doods! How’s it been lately? Me? I’m working on a new piece of art. And I can tell you, I’m working really hard on it and I put a lot of effort into it! It’s not yet done, though. Still a lot of shading to do and at the same time, I’m reading a few coloring tutorials. And as a small gift, I’m going to put a link to the tutorial!

click me!
The tutorial is all about cel shading and the author is Celesse. She’s an amazing Freelance Artist. I get inspiration from her a LOT and her artworks will never fail to make you smile
. Her website is: http://www.bottled-talent.com
As soon as I finish shading Chompy, I’ll be sure to put it in my gallery and on DA. Oh, and if some of you don’t know yet, Chompy is my character who loves chocolates [as much as I do] and wearing his pirate costume every Halloween. You’ll be seeing him a lot here, on my site, so get used to him

If you’re wondering where my old doodles page is, well, it’s gone. I deleted it because, well… actually… It’s just that, I don’t think it suits being here in my site. True, I can take a look at my old drawings, but really, I don’t need ‘em here anymore D: . Instead of putting them on a page, I’ll just post ‘em here on my blog whenever I create a doodle. I’m sure no one objects, right

One of the hardest parts in drawing is when it comes to people. The shape of the head, body, the EYES, they’re just so hard to draw! I’m sure you agree with me. When I was young I even drew people like aliens! Big eyes, I mean
Of course, right now I have no problem drawing people. I have another problem: WHAT STYLE TO USE?
Anime or Cartoons? Really, I have a hard time just deciding between these two. I’ve been thinking and it seems like cartoons are easier and wackier, perfect for a joker like me. Now, kids are easy to draw, their body structure is small so you draw kids in a breeze. But as for adults drawing them gives me a hard time. Their body structure is more advanced than in kids. Men have abs and females have breasts. That’s what’s so hard when it comes to drawing adults. That’s why I’m practicing right now.
My advice for you? Study body structures. Look for poses in Google. You’re bound to find plenty and you can use them as references!
Hope I helpes
